Geoff has extensive experience in the areas of employment, consumer rights, and general business litigation. He has represented clients in class action and single plaintiff lawsuits in numerous states including Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Texas, Florida, and New York. Prior to establishing Gross LLC, Geoff was a litigator with Stinson Leonard Street, LLP a large nationwide law firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. His employment law experience includes disputes involving employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, family and medical leave, discrimination based on military service, and wage issues. He also represents clients in employment contract negotiations including severance, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. His consumer rights practice focuses on litigation in state and federal court regarding unlawful debt collection matters, including matters under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and on the unfair use of credit reporting information, including matters arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Geoff graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2008 where he served as symposium editor for the Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law and as vice president of the Vanderbilt Trial Advocacy Society. Geoff received his undergraduate education at the University of Kansas, graduating with University Honors in 2002. He holds undergraduate degrees in both English and Spanish.
